Our Story
Literacy Connections is a non-profit organization that provides, promotes, and connects community members to free literacy services to be successful at home and in the community. In addition to providing literacy services, Literacy Connections manages an event venue, Terrace Room, and a bookstore, Round About Books, located in historic Downtown Goldsboro. All proceeds from both locations benefit literacy services in Wayne County, North Carolina.

with sweeping views of downtown, and the outdoor terrace overlooking the historic district make this one of a kind space an unforgettable venue for your event. We'd love to be part of your special day, reach out anytime and we will be happy to help!
